Essendon Extension

The scope of the project was to construct an infill home office extension at the very rear of the backyard space, a studio area for the client’s spouse who works in shoe production.  This further allowed an upper, screened extension of private open space on the property, alleviating the current lack of space in the existing dwelling. The infill engages an edgy design, elevating the value and architectural standing of the property.  The lower studio level embraces much natural daylight, with direct visual links to an adjoining garden. The crowning upper level saw the formation of usable, enjoyable and flexible private open space - aimed for entertaining and increasing the client's leisure.
